In 2008, geneticists of Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC) announced that they sequenced the first genome of a woman in 8x depath. She was claimed to be the first European whose DNA sequence has been determined. They promised to make the data publically available for in-depth analysis except incidental privacy-sensitive findings. However, until 2010, the data were not publicized in any easily acceptable format.
